PokerStars Open
The PokerStars Open is PokerStars' accessible buy-in live tour. It answers a well-identified limit of the European Poker Tour: the EPT's prestige comes with buy-ins that price out a large share of recreational players. The PokerStars Open keeps the festival format — a week of tournaments, a multi-day Main Event, side events around it — while bringing the entry ticket down to a far more affordable level.

About PokerStars Open
The result is large fields with a high proportion of players discovering live poker, many of them online qualifiers. The tour stops in several European countries, with a regular presence in France.
The production remains that of a major tour: careful structures, floor supervision, streaming and final table coverage. For a player who wants a taste of a big festival without committing an EPT budget, it is the natural entry point. The detailed programme of each upcoming stop is listed below.
Frequently asked questions
How does the PokerStars Open differ from the EPT?
Both tours belong to PokerStars but target different players. The EPT trades on prestige, with buy-ins in the thousands and very strong fields. The PokerStars Open keeps the festival format at a markedly lower entry price, built for recreational players and online qualifiers.
Can I qualify online for the PokerStars Open?
Yes, and it is one of the main routes in: online satellites award packages for the stops, and on-site satellites run throughout the festival. A significant share of the field arrives that way.
Does the PokerStars Open stop in France?
Yes, the tour visits French casinos regularly. The upcoming stops on record, with city, venue and dates, are listed on this page.
